amateur astronomy and astrophotography
If gazing at the night sky brings you peace and joy, you are far from alone. I have loved watching the sky since childhood. Over time, those dreams turned into many nights spent awake under the stars.
My first attempts at observing were as a little boy with an Astro-kabinet plastic construction kit. Around that time, I joined the astronomy club at the Valašské Meziříčí Observatory.
For many years, a pair of Russian binoculars was all I needed. Today, after years of visual observing, I find that same enjoyment in astrophotography.
The photographs are not always perfect, but making them brings me joy. It is hard to describe the feeling when objects invisible to the naked eye emerge in an image. You have to experience it yourself.
