Total Lunar Eclipse 2015
On September 28, 2015, a total lunar eclipse took place. The forecast promised clear skies and it was also a public holiday, which was the perfect combination for photographing the entire phenomenon. Photography took place from 3:00 to 5:00 in the morning, only until the phase of the "blood" moon.
The video is compiled from approximately 120 images taken during the total lunar eclipse. Before stacking, they were cropped to make the image as large as possible. The transition to the total eclipse phase is a little wilder because the exposure time had to be significantly increased. The show had a wonderful atmosphere. As a family, we sat on the terrace and watched the beautiful blood moon in the windless under the blankets. The time off thanks to the public holiday was a nice bonus, in one word, great :-)
